Property Overview
The Augustus Lithium Property (the “Property”) is located in the Province of Québec, Canada, approximately 50 kilometres from Val-d’Or, a well-established mining centre. Québec is widely recognized as a stable and mining-friendly jurisdiction with established regulatory processes and supportive infrastructure.
The Property comprises of approximately 250 mineral claims covering 12,000 hectares within a region prospective for lithium-bearing pegmatites. The Property benefits from access to existing infrastructure, including a network of provincial highways and secondary roads, nearby rail facilities, access to hydroelectric power, and availability of a skilled workforce based in the Val-d’Or region. Such infrastructure is considered advantageous for exploration activities; however, there can be no assurance that existing infrastructure will be sufficient for any future development scenario.
The Property is situated within a broader hard-rock lithium district that hosts several past-producing and exploration-stage lithium and molybdenum occurrences located approximately 3 to 20 kilometres from the Property boundaries. The Property is also located in proximity to the North American Lithium (“NAL”) and Authier lithium projects, which are owned by Sayona Mining Limited.
According to publicly available disclosure by Sayona Mining Limited, the NAL and Authier projects collectively report mineral resources totaling 87.8 million tonnes at 1.05% Li₂O in the Measured and Indicated categories and 31.2 million tonnes at 1.07% Li₂O in the Inferred category.
Cautionary Statements Regarding Adjacent Properties
Mineral resources and mineral reserves reported for the NAL and Authier projects are based on publicly available information and have not been independently verified by the Company. The Company has not conducted sufficient work to confirm the accuracy of such information. The mineralization hosted on adjacent or nearby properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization that may be hosted on the Augustus Lithium Property.
Exploration Work to Date
Linear Minerals Corp. (the “Company”) has conducted multiple phases of exploration at the Augustus Lithium Property (the “Property”) since 2021. Exploration activities have included prospecting, geological mapping, trenching, channel sampling, geophysical surveys, diamond drilling, and metallurgical testwork.
To date, the Company has completed 100 diamond drill holes totaling approximately 16,607 metres on the Property. The majority of drill holes intersected spodumene-bearing pegmatites of varying thicknesses and grades. Details of individual drill results are available in the Company’s previously filed news releases and on SEDAR+. Spodumene-bearing pegmatites have been delineated in several zones and remain open along strike and at depth; however, there can be no assurance that additional drilling will result in the definition of a mineral resource.
Metallurgical Testwork
Preliminary metallurgical testwork has been completed on representative samples from the Property. Using a dense media separation (DMS) and flotation process, testing produced a spodumene concentrate grading approximately 6.08% Li₂O at an overall lithium recovery of approximately 85%, based on test conditions and sample material evaluated.
Further downstream processing testwork resulted in the production of high-purity lithium carbonate with a reported purity of 99.95%. Metallurgical results are based on limited test samples and laboratory-scale testing. Additional work, including variability testing and pilot-scale studies, would be required to confirm process performance and economic viability.
Surface Exploration and Geophysics
Surface exploration programs have identified a high-grade spodumene-bearing pegmatite zone at the Beluga prospect, which warrants additional follow-up work. Ground prospecting and soil sampling programs have also identified multiple additional pegmatite targets for future evaluation.
The Company completed a 660 line-kilometre high-resolution helicopter-borne magnetic survey covering key target areas, including the Augustus and Beluga zones. Geophysical data are being integrated with geological and drilling information to refine targeting.
Ongoing Work and Forward-Looking Information
Exploration activities remain focused on evaluating the lateral and vertical extent of lithium-bearing pegmatites and refining the geological model. There is no certainty that further exploration will result in the delineation of mineral resources or that any identified mineralization will be economically viable.
